Today I am treating you to TWO delightful posts! Woohoo!
I am one mega fangirl of #GBBO (Great British Bake-Off if you didn’t know)! So what better way to celebrate it’s return other than getting involved in a big blogger project. #bloggersbakealong is where, as a group, we will be baking along each week, and face the same challenges as the contestants. Feel free to get involved! I’d love to see everyone’s weekly bakes!
As a test run, before the series starts on the 5th August, our theme to bake along with was Ex-Contestants. Now, I have the worst memory when it comes to telly programmes and films. I can easily come out of a cinema not really remembering anything about what I just saw, apart from the name of the film. So I did have to have a cheeky look through the Bake-Off recipe book online so ‘refresh’ my memory of past bakes. I wanted to make something I could take into work this week- however you will read later why that is defo not happening now!
I chose to make Paul Hollywood’s Poppy Seed and Sun Dried Tomato biscuits. Let’s all keep in mind I am a poor student, who is currently living without any kitchen utensils apart from a knife, fork and spoon…
Oodles and Toodles
Your poppy seed biscuits look delicious. I'm sorry to hear that the tomato paste ran away in your other ones. Timings can be tricky. Looking forward to watching #GBBO tomorrow and seeing your bake for this coming week. #BloggersBakeAlong
I'll get it right next time! Thanks for commenting.
