Miss Row Bow: The Return

Hey Guys!

Here we go again! I’m back working at a local Primary School for the last few weeks of term. I really can’t keep away. But I think if I’m there I am ten times more productive and super useful (hopefully!). Otherwise I’d be sat around like a lazy-bum ‘attempting’ to tidy my house, which would just entail me watching every type of Real Housewives… on repeat. (Especially this version! #DeletedScenes)

For my first day at work I chose this smart ensemble. I managed to wear my new New Look cardigan and a new skirt from H&M. Initially, I only tried on the skirt so I could try on a few tops in the shop. But then I ended up liking the skirt more than the tops! Also, I have finally gotten around to purchasing my own white shirt, instead of stealing everybody else’s. This one was £6 from Tesco’s Men’s section. I tucked the shirt into the skirt and folded the cuffs back on the sleeves. This way the collar and cuffs really stand out. I decorated the collar with an H&M sale necklace. The silver tones match the greyer skirt. To complete the smart image, I strutted about in my heeled brogues which are a deep navy colour- much like the squiggles on the cardigan.

The other day a song started playing on the radio and I found myself sining along, as I often do. A pretty normal event for me, but as the song progressed I just couldn’t work out why I even knew the song. After all, we were listening to one of the ‘rent favourite stations which plays absolutely none of the cheesy beats I love so much. But then I worked it out! The song was ‘Sweater Weather‘ by The Neighbourhood and the guys from The Vamps have covered it on their new EP. Duh! I really like both bands versions, the original has an indie sound to it but The Vamps bring in their acoustics a lot more. They even bring in a bit of keyboard for a slightly disco vibe.
