Hey Guys!
This is an outfit which I wore to a dinner out for my friends birthday last night. We said we’d do smart/casual and pretty outfits. So me and another friend dressed accordingly, but the birthday girl wore a baggy top and cardigan with leggings! But at least we looked pretty!
I chose this combination of red top with a pussy bow detail and a high waisted animal print skirt. I chose gold accessories with a small necklace and subtle ring. I think that the gold accessories give the outfit a warmer appeal, which is helped also by the colour of the top. I think that the contrast between the loosely fitted top and tighter skirt really helps emphasise and draws attention to my waist and legs. The looser top makes sure the outfit isn’t too dressy and keeps it slightly causal. I feel that the two pieces are a bit clashy for my personal style, so I chose some simple black heels and tights to make sure I didn’t over do the outfit.
