Dressing in one colour, head-to-toe monochrome, is such a statement and I’m totally here for it! I’ve tried out a little lilac look today and yaaaaass, I’m living for this! The two lilac pieces, from PrettyLittleThing earlier this Summer, are very slightly different tones, the trousers are definitely a slightly warmer hue. This breaks up the look just enough to show I’m an actual human underneath and not just a life-size highlighter! The drama of the plazzo style trousers really adds to the statement of this look, look at them as the blow gloriously in the wind. The gold belt matches the netural tones of the shoes, even though it is fabulously sparkly. Fun fact: it was my Grandma’s belt! She was teenie tiny when she was my age, like her wedding dress hardly goes over one of my legs, let along two…
I wasn’t brave enough to commit to the lilac look on my face, so I’ve used my Kylie Cosmetics liquid lipstick in Okurrr. My earrings pick up on the pink too, which kind of makes it the accent colour of this look (I remember reading a post about ‘things that bloggers say’ and it took the mick of the term ‘accent colour’ so #sorrynotsorry for being a cringe blogger and mentioning that!).
