We love an inspirational kween, #amirite? Frida Kahlo is one of those women I just wanna sit down with and have a DMC over a cuppa. I’ve studied her creative works and so only just touched the surface of her personal life, but what a woman to come out the other side as an independent lay-dee who wasn’t gonna change herself or her style for any one! The top in my #ootd is a graphic print of Kahlo’s most iconic features: the brow, the floral hair accessories and her incredible taste in earrings (which are actual tassels on this tee!). The top is from Reclaimed Vintage.
I’ve taken the small bit of mint green in the print and run with it for the whole look by pairing it with the finest striped culottes from Primark and some teenie tiny, green sunglasses from ASOS. The fab fluffy sliders (which I have been lusting over for so long) are a lovely present from Shoezone. I was rocking a bit of a fake tan feet disaster when I took these pics, hence no close up pics…
