Tis the season for pretty pastels and 2018 is no different. However, instead of naturally being drawn to the baby pinks and warmer hues, I thought I’d try these cooler tones. The result is a suitably mermaid vibe, which I’m not mad at… Lilac and purples are one of this season biggest colours (along with Millennial Yellow, but I’m not sure I can pull that off!). I’ve done head-to-toe lilac which looks oh-so-dramatic… huh, I really should get round to posting that…
Mermaid shades are easy to rock, particularly with light wash jeans. I’m not gonna start suggesting you crack out the lilac jeans because I’d hate you to think it was 2007 again (I mean if you didn’t spend your early teens in garish coloured jeans, who even are you?). I’ve chosen a lilac Wearhouse t-shirt, that’s baggy nature on a small frame is combated slightly with the deep v-neck that opens up the space around my neck and tucking it in at the front so it’s got some short of shape around my middle. I’ve tried to act like I’m cool enough to wear the denim jacket around my arms, but if I’m honest it’s just not practical gals. Like, how am I meant to go about my day like this once I’ve finished “doing it for the ‘gram”? My silver belt matches my silver hair rings, and jobs a good’un, I’m part of that worlllldddd!
