A friend told me these trews looked a bit Christmassy the other day. But that’s not gonna stop me from flaunting them all summer long! I understand though, it’s the almost metallic finish to them that’s quite festive looking. I hoped pairing them with a baggy white tee and sandals would overrule this and banish any festive feels, but then I added a red lips and everyone knows red and green are the ultimate Holidays colour combo, d’oh!
Because it’s a pretty chilled look, I didn’t want to stack too much jewellery onto it (I mean, I hardly ever remember to actually wear any jewellery, so that wasn’t likely to happen was it, haha!). Right now, I am really into delicate necklaces. Ones with this chains, tiny jewels and are a little blink and you’ll miss it. This one is a basic from ASOS and the single gem with a light chain looks so elegant and dainty, am I right? The 2013/14 chunky-necklace-loving-me would not even recognise me anymore haha!
