Hey Guys!
Today we’re going to take a little break from the backstage theatre looks, as I fill you in on my Spring Summer 2015 Beauty Wishlist. I’ve chosen some of my favourite make-up looks that were on the S/S 15 catwalks, and searched high and low for products I think would be perfect to recreate the look at home.
If you regularly check out What Row Chose… you’ll know how much I love a bold lip. Bright Pink, Deep Red, Vampy Purple or Electric Orange. You name it, I’ll probably wear it! I would say apart from green, but BarryM have their Genie lipstick which starts off green but warms up to a beautiful pink. Always good for a brave beginner in bold lipsticks. Or if you just want high gloss + high colour, Rimmel have you covered with their Vinyl Gloss. Flashmob go all out with their Electric Kisses set, including yellow and blue along with Row Bow favourites pink and purple.
I love colourful eyeshadows, but since I’ve actually bothered to pay attention to the application of my eyeshadow, I haven’t really experimented with colour. The rosy hues Matthew Williamson models wore for his S/S 15 show, stick to one main shade with a small use of a paler tone to highlight the inner corner. The spacious application is very 70’s, but it’s paired with subtle cheeks to keep the whole look still really fresh. Sleek, Flashmob and MUA have some great pallets with every colour under the rainbow inside!
Have you see the photos from when I chalked my hair? I used regular chalk, since I didn’t have hair chalk to hand. But I’m pretty sure that using actual hair chalk is much better than art chalk… Badgley Mischka used hair chalking subtly but effectively in their S/S 15 show. Models were adorned with eyebrows in tones of teal and violet, amongst other choices. Sections of models long locks were also coloured. Flashmob have a great hair chalking set, which comes in a compact set with the chalk on one side and a sponge on the other. The components work well together to give an even distribution. Genius! I like the colours from the Handpicked Collection. The pink is just so pretty! If you want to keep it simple, why not use good old temporary hair spray. I used to love wearing glitter hair sprays for EVERY SINGLE PARTY I went to as a kid. Claire’s have a great range of choices, I think the pastel choices are very S/S 15.
Oodles and Toodles

I love these colors, especially that blue liner x
Me too! Sticking to neutral pallets can be so boring sometimes!
