Dots + Stripes

Hey Guys!

I think it’s pretty obvious that I didn’t wear this outfit the other day, given the breezy weather here in old Blighty. But here at What Row Chose… we like to bring the brightness and sprinkle the sunshine! I wore this ensemble to work, at the theatre group. I think it’s suitably slouchy yet snazzy. It’s the best way to be!

This Bardot style top featured in my little Choies haul. It comes in one size, which means that the top fits really nicely. I think this feature works really well in contrast with the big baggy, polka dot plazzo pants. The top and trouser combo is predominantly black and white, but there is a hint of pretty pink on the trews. So naturally, I’ve chosen to pick up these tones with some lippy and scrunchie work. Because of the gorgeous lace trim on the top, the outfit didn’t need blingy jewellery.

Because I haven’t posted regularly in so long, I feel like there are waaayy too many new songs you NEED to hear about. The first being Fifth Harmony’s infectiously catchy, Sledgehammer. I’ll admit, the title doesn’t sound the most softly, softly, love-dovey title. But man, once you hit the play button the first time, you will not be able to stop pressing it. The girls belta voices, especially Camilla’s, sing a powerful chorus over subtle background ohhhhhss and wooooos. In the video the girls are all dressed in a heavenly white and it looks super effective with the silhouette shots that feature. If you couldn’t tell I’m desperate to be the Sixth Harmony, pleeeeease!
