All I want for christmas isssssss… a pretttyyy dreeeessssss.
This pretty dress to be precise. And lucky for me I bought it in a recent splurge online at Choies. I love the school girl style the dress hollas. The shoulders and collar echo the features that accompany a pinafore (I’m also on the hunt for one of those too!). Because the dress is so unique and striking on its own, its quite tricky to really push the styling around it. I felt that keeping it simple was the best way to go by adding black accessories. Black tights, black shoes, black bow and black cape. I love the drama the cape adds. The collar peeks through so daintily. It’s just a shame the buttons don’t quite match up to their designated button holes… That’s what you get when you scrimp on everything. #CheapThrills!
I kept my hair down in loose curls and combined a tan nude lipstick and a red-hued nude lipstick to create the perfect rosy tone.
