Valentine’s Day Outfit

Hey Guys,
First post, exciting! (I’m such a newbie!)
So I thought I’d start with a cute little outfit that I wore yesterday to a Valentine’s Date with my girlies. We went out for lunch and exchanged cards -although the waiters gave us some funny looks! Then we went to go and see The Vow, we’re so romantic.
So I chose to wear this really simply designed dress as I’m not a fan of heavy going designs. I love my block colouring so I teamed it with plain black leggings and some long brown boots. Brown and black aren’t really meant to be worn together, but I think that this is one of the shades you can get away with. It’s quite a charcoally brown, so I think it works well. I’m trying to get the most from my autumnal colours as we move from A/W to S/S trends. I wore a simple gold apple necklace to try and elongate the look. I wasn’t sure if it looked better with or without the blazer. I didn’t want to look to smart at a casual get together. A blazer is a great addition if you don’t want to add a coat in colder weather.
I just wore my hair down as I’m experimenting with my Au natural curls, so bear with!
