Hey Guys!
Last Wednesday I had an interview at Middlesex Uni for Fashion Communications and Styling. It sounds really good there are it has the link within fashion that I’m looking for. But I’ve realsied they weren’t very flattering to me in the interview, but they did call me very clever. Which is a bonus if I can trick them into thinking I’m clever, even if they rumbled me not being very “cool”.
I chose my black empire line dress, with the Peter-Pan leopard print collar. I realised that I hardly every wear this beautiful creation, so I made an effort to whip it out. I paired it with a mustard jacket that has a black lining so it goes well. The yellow shares tones that are in the collar and then the lining matches thedress. It was super chilly when I was making my way there, so I was glad I wore leggings and boots, but when I came out of the interview it was really sunny and warmer. I felt like a little bit of a div with my coat then!
I wore the dress to work again at the weekend, and this time I remembered the deep purple lipstick, and it totally baffled all the kids. “What’s happened to your lipstick?” As if it was broken. “What’s that on your lips?” And the best was from a little 4 year old, “Why is your lipstick like that? It looks like a beard!” Gee, thanks kids! That’s what I get for making myself look decent in the mornings!
They are cute though, so I’ll let them off!
Whilst writing this I’ve had Carly Rae Jepsen’s new single Tonight I’m Getting Over You on REPEAT!
