Hey Guys!
When the A-Level results were published last month, UCAS finally got round to updating my application and I had officially been accepted into Middlesex University to study Fashion Communication and Styling. Exciting times! But then a few days later I received an e-mail informing me I won’t be getting accommodation in halls, because I live to close. So this meant I had to look for my own place to stay and seal the deal before the beginning of October. I think I rushed the process a little as I was away on holiday the next week so I just wanted it to be sorted. But I managed to find myself a group of others in a similar position and last week we went house hunting. I had arranged 2 places to see and neither of them were palaces but at least we’ve got a roof over our heads next year!
It was a really hot and sunny day (remember those?) but I was convinced it wouldn’t really get that warm. I didn’t bake like a hot potato, but I was quite warm. The top is a new purchase from GAP. I feel like I don’t have enough basic staple pieces in my wardrobe. I need more items that go with everything else in my wardrobe. This long sleeved jumper is super soft and feels really luxurious to wear. I tucked it into my purple skater skirt which I’ve been whipping out at every occasion possible at the moment! The belt for the skirt is black and gold which links the black tights & shoes and double golden pendant combo. I packed a pink cardigan incase it did get chilly. But I really didn’t need that. I think this look is a great transitional look from the summer months to autumn, with the option of long sleeves or short.
I’ve seen this band come up lots on twitter and such, so I thought it was probs about time I finally checked them out. What prompted me more so was that when channel flicking I managed to catch the very end of their music video. Its The Vamps- Can we Dance? Considering they only got together in 2012, and signed late last year, they’ve already done a fair bit. Their Wikipedia page informs me that they have supported McFly, are about to support Selena Gomez and performed at festivals this summer. And in the same amount of time they’ve been around I…have…got myself an Art Foundation. Not quite as impressive! I didn’t realise how young they are, 17-20 one of every age. But back to the song and it’s right up my street. Really poppy with almost an acoustic influence and easy to learn lyrics. Just off to watch the video in its glorious entirety, I know the end is good!
Thats exactly what happened to me with Middlesex!
Very cute outfit.
Glad you found somewhere to live.
