Hey Guys!
April is usually the month I’ll finally abandon my winter coat and start wearing my spring jacket or alternative lightweight hoodies and bomber jackets. But I just can’t commit yet! I’m very self-aware that I whinge ALOT if I’m cold, so it’s just safer for every body involved if I keep with my winter coat until I’m ready. I imagine it’s the same with weening a baby off their dummy…
However, this lush leopard print coat has the potential to be a great mid-mid-point jacket. My winter coat is a long, dark navy blue coat with a fluffy collar and tie waist. The light tan leopard print colouring is an instant nod to brighter days in comparison. It has the option to button it up down the middle but, TBH it didn’t look that great so the open style is also easing away from the wintery ‘wrapped up like a human fajita’ feel.
This coat was from Primark and I’ve kept the rest of the look simple with a basic black turtle neck and a denim skirt from River Island. The necklace is Oasis and also from Primark are the boots. My bright red lips are courtesy of a really old Kate Moss Rimmel lippy because I don’t have the heart to throw it out!
