Hey Guys!
Since finishing College I have been the most useless friend and hardly seen any of my buds at all! I have one friend in London with me, who I’ve met up with a couple of times. But apart from that I just end up stalking them on Facebook and forget I haven’t seen them in real life for way too long. This week I met up with my trusty arty pal, Kayla. I still can’t believe it had been 2 years since when we met up it felt like I’d seen her only yesterday!
I had a really pretty, girly, pink look all planned for out date. I decided to try it on the night before to make sure it looked as good as I thought it would, because the amount of times my little noggin has been totally wrong is cray! Sure enough when I had my lovely shirt and skirt on I realised that I could defo not wear it out the house. If I’m honest the skirt it waaaay too short and I just need to get rid of it. But it’s super pretty, all navy and floral with a delicate ribboned bow. After a quick rummage I managed to put this number together. However, in the cuffuffle of racing about trying to leave at a sensible time (which definitely didn’t happen!) I forgot to change my shoes and ended up going in these grotty white trainers. I’ve had these since the middle of secondary school and they’re a quick go to if I’m not doing anything important. I meant to wear a pair of little brown chelsea boots, so you’ll have to use you imagination. I managed to put on the frilly socks but not the fancy shoes, D’oh!
Now, unless you’ve been living in a box for the past few days you’ll know that Taylor Swift has done an, almost, Beyonce and dropped her new single onto iTunes without telling anyone. Cheeky! Shake It Off is the debut single from Taylor’s upcoming album 1989. Even though she’s still nominated for Country Singer awards, I really son’t feel any country vibes from her music anymore. Shake It Off it a very catchy number, due to the repetitive nature of the song, and replaces the country-guitar twangs for song jazzy trumpet toots.
