Hey Guys!
These are my current nails which I am sporting as I write this post. Crazy, I know! I have used a pale pink base from the brand ‘by Terry’. I’ve never heard of this brand before but the polish is really nice to work with. The pictures have made the baby pink seem much more orangey and almost like the BarryM Papaya polish. In real life the colour is a lot more of a pretty, girly baby pink. I then whipped out the nail art pens and doodled on top. I have learnt that if you are right handed and trying to use your left hand to draw the doodle, move your right hand about and keep the nail art pen still. A revolution in my nail art life!
I will admit I am not wearing a base coat. Shock horror, naughty Row Bow! But there is a method behind my madness. I have been using clear nail polishes as base and top coats on my nails for YEARS! However it only dawned on me the other day that this could be the reason my nail varnish ALWAYS chips. Without fail it chips, particularly when in washing my hair. So I have gone straight to the coloured polish this time with a top coat to protect it. And so far so good. Hardly any chipping, Woo-hoo! Maybs I should just invest in a proper base coat? Especially before I forget and just slap on the green and blue polishes God forbid!
