Each week I like to try a different look, at work. I try a different theme, obviously to practice getting into character and becoming the personality you understand. This look I described as my ‘French Look’. I think that the ensemble details of the colours and prints speaks Parisian woman to me.
I bought this dress in New Look the when I was working at Style Magazine. I went in for a pair of white cork wedges and came out with 2 new dresses instead. What am I like? I just couldn’t leave empty handed, I’m sure you understand the feeling! I added the red, blue and green square scarf as I wrapped it around my neck. I was mindful that it didn’t look like a swaggy kind of bandana dewberry. But I think because as it sits lower around my neck, it looks like a lovely little neck wrap instead. The scarf is the only colour within the look, apart from a little red lippy tint.
I love my little white frilly socks and, I’m sure you’ve noticed, I try to wear them with everything. I think they look so cute with trainers. To finish of the French Lady look, I wrapped a cheeky little Chanel ribbon around my hair.
