Hey Guys!
I’m not gonna lie, a full bodycon dress kinda scares me.
Although I try to hide it, I can admit I have little bit of a gut. Sometimes I think unless you’re physically overweight, people can think, ‘Ohemgee! You’re so little how can you have any body issues?’ (I’m watching Loose Women as I write this and they’re talking about diet and weight and the like- great minds think alike!) But then when I admit my thoughts I never want to sound like I’m boasting how little and petite I am. I am just a regular Row Bow, Little Miss Average (appearance wise, personality wise I’m a hoot!). I know nobody is staring at my tummy when I dare to bare in a bodycon the dress, but I know almost everybody will have that thought cross their mind at some point. However, I have found the perfect way to get the best of both worlds-confidence and a tight fitting dress. Parade about in a highly patterned dress! This, mixed with a highly patterned lightweight coverup, like this chiffon kimono, and you are on to a winning match!
The school I was working at when I wore this look, had a visiting teacher from India. It was her last day at the school this particular day and she’d decided that I’d made enough of an impact on her experience that she’d like to keep the memory and have a photo with me. Ohh, I’m sooo popular! We tried the first attempt and after reviewing it she said, ‘You look so nice, Your posing is very good.’ Isn’t she sweet? I told her I’m used to talking photos of my outfits almost everyday, so I’ve got this posing thing down, hehe!

I love the clashing patterns in this outfit!! You look so so lovely, and I definitely get what you mean about a bodycon dress. I tend to walk around holding my breath, but I guess I won't need to do that anymore!!! Lots of love xxx

Thanks for commenting Eden! Ah yes, the old 'breathe in' trick. Do it for long enough and eventually you can tone up your stomach. Or you could spend the time enjoying a good carbo-loading shesh, which I much prefer!
